Day 20 – Chasing that Tokyo Zen

I grabbed a 7Eleven brekky and sat outside the Shinjuku Gardens (cost ¥500 entrance) eating my yummy meal on a bench amongst raindropped maple tress.

Then I left to check out Roppongi Hills.

It has winding roads that lead up to a sandstone shopping complex, observatory and pretty Japanese garden.

Not to mention the icon spider.

After admiring the peacefulness, I desired more and took a trip to the Imperial Palace Gardens.

Letting the vibrant greenery of the beautiful gardens amaze me.

Entry is free admission and definitely worth a visit.

Busy bee enjoying the spring blooms.

As the sun was setting I walked down the strip of Akihabara, trying my luck at gochuchan (lucky draw machines).

I’m sure my cat will appreciate the outfits.

Saw a beautiful sunset over the electric city.

Before returning to check into to a new hotel for a bath and rest.
