Day 8 – Last ‘dae in Seoul

Took my self to Hongdae, a young and trendy area near Hongnik University. Had a visually pleasing and tasty breakfast at Arriate Cafe.

Brunch: herb and lemon ade, cheese sponge cake and salted caramel macaron – gorgeous and delicious
Three stories filled with a beautiful dried flower fragrance.

Next was exploring the rest of Hongdae’s shops, street food and trinkets. Hongdae would have to be my favourite place in Seoul to shop so far, the clothes are affordable, fashionable and fairly decent.

There are street performers, cafes, bars and it only gets busier with stylish uni students as the day continues on.

Dinner: Cheese ramen with side dishes of pickled radish and kimchi – yummy and only ₩4,000

This was a perfect last day in Seoul. I had an amazing week, every day was memorable. Saranghae Seoul!

Now to catch a train to Busan and hope the zombies have taken the weekend off (I hope that reference makes sense – I don’t actually watch horror movies haha, Korean ones are hardcore).
