I was awoken by a glorious day!

Immediately I knew it needed to be taken advantage of and I took off in search of breakfast.

I like this drug/convenience store, where you can get bento, sandwiches, snacks, medication and even jewellery, make up and beauty products on the upper level.

Afterwards I made my way towards Harajuku to get a fuller look at the area.

But got sidetracked at Franc Franc, its such a great store that I got enough purchases that a return trip to my hotel to drop them off was necessary.

Stores like these don’t exist back home, so I have to take full advantage of the unique items while I have access to them.
Stopped by a market at my local Temple and found a beautiful jade ring amongst the other antiques.

Then I continued back to Harajuku, somewhat of a mistake because it made me acutely aware of just how busy Golden Week is in Tokyo.

The famous street was completely full, to the point that we were just a tightly packed mass of people shuffling down the street one step at a time.

I did find the less popular (probably not as good) crepe place to order from and tick that experience off the bucket list.

It was a great snack before following the crowds to Meiji Jingu, a large Shinto Shrine located in Yoyoyi Park.

It was much more peaceful and picturesque here, and a great alternate route than the crowded Harajuku station area.

I continued until I returned to a very busy Starbucks to quench my thirst and rest my poor feet.
The great aspect about Japanese service is that even though there is a big line, its very fast moving and customers won’t be waiting long.

Dinner plans involved, finding a Ichiran ramen spot, timing my visit perfectly before the dinner rush.
Then I finally returned my hotel room, once again do the ritual of soaking my sore body, ready for tomorrow.
