Woke up and had a quick 7Eleven breakfast. Then made my way to Seoul Station to pre-purchase my weekend train ticket to Busan.

Then I caught a bus to Gyeongbokgung Palace! The bus dropped me off near an alley, leading to the Palace, filled with hanbok rental stores. I got really lucky and found Iride Hanbok.

The staff were lovely and easy going, encouraged me to pick out an outfit, did my hair, I chose a bag to match and rented everything for 4hrs for only ₩20,000!

Plus you can enter the Palace for free if you’re wearing traditional hanbok.

I explored Gyeongbokgung Palace for a few hours, enjoying the beautiful and imposing buildings and another sunny spring day.
It was great to see so many people wearing hanbok it made it seem like we’d all travelled back to the Joseon era.

Next I took the subway to Bukchon Hanok Village for a look back in time.

Before hustling back to the rental store to return my outfit. After a much needed rest stop and refreshing drink at Holly’s, I walked down the strip in front of the Palace.
Taking in the statues there and getting feels from Memories of Alhambra.

Dinner time was at BHC Chicken in Myeondong- chikmek was delicious!

As the sun was setting it was time to go back to the hotel and dream of returning to Joseon.

Good night!
