Day 3 – Sunny Day in Seoul

In true temperamental spring weather fashion, it was beautiful sunny day today, making it the perfect day to see a panoramic view of Seoul.

Brekky first: A yummy savoury curry croquette and custard filled bun from a little bakery

One of the best ways to see the city laid out, is by taking a cable car to the top of Mount Namsen to Namsen Tower. A round trip will cost about W9,500, which I recommend as to avoid as many stairs as you can.

Or you can walk all the way up the winding road, if you don’t plan on using your feet for the rest of the day

Going on a Monday is quieter than a weekend according to Google, and although it was busy it wasn’t too overwhelming with other tourists.

After taking many photos of the stunning views and viewing area, I bought a love lock from the vending machine, wrote my message and locked it in place (let me know if you can find it, when you visit!)

A lot of love out there in the world ❤️

A short walk away from Namsen Mountain is Myeondong Shopping area where you can buy skincare, food, cutesy souvineers and clothing to your hearts content.

Chilling with my BTS boys: If you make a purchase at Mediheal you get a free beverage in the upstairs cafe

Stick around till after 5pm and the street food vendors will start setting up to sell their snack of choice.

From top right: sugar hotteok with peanuts, tteokbokki, bangeo-bang a sweet red bean fish cake and a matcha, chocolate, strawberry rose ice cream

After spending too much money, I took a train one stop to Town Hall and walked back to my hotel to soak my weary feet.

See you tomorrow Seoul!
